SpringBoard Digital from the College Board Wins Best Reading and Language Arts Curriculum

BURLINGTON, Mass.—June 15, 2015—The Association of American Publishers has awarded a REVERE Award to SpringBoard® Digital from the College Board. SpringBoard Digital is a college and career readiness English Language Arts and Mathematics curriculum for all students, including high-performing students in grades 6-12. EvoText designed and developed the interactive digital platform for the College Board.

EvoText is a proven technology mastermind in developing education technology products. EvoText’s engineers and learning specialists, in collaboration with SpringBoard curriculum experts, reinvented the print version of SpringBoard into a highly interactive digital platform for middle and high school English Language Arts and Mathematics. Added features include a lesson planner, digital notebook, student portfolio and grading assistant to support the cutting-edge digital ebooks. The ebooks include point of use standards alignments, digital sticky notes and metacognitive markers, enhanced test item types and math learning tools.

“This is the second major award for SpringBoard and we, at EvoText, are extremely proud to have provided the technology and programming expertise to transition SpringBoard from print to digital,” said Johanna Wetmore, CEO of EvoText and cofounder of Ogment. “Working with the College Board and the SpringBoard team on this award-winning product has been gratifying for all of us.”

K-12 learning products entered into the REVERE Awards are subject to a rigorous evaluation process, which places emphasis on both professional educator analysis and feedback from product developers in the learning resource community. For nearly 50 years, the REVERE Awards have recognized content, basal curricula, supplementary resources and other tools that help teachers teach and learners learn.
